Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AinsGigs ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Account Registration

To use AinsGigs, you must create an account through our Azure AD B2C authentication system. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be solely responsible for all activity under your account
  • Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

3. KYC Verification

Pro freelancers must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification by submitting valid government-issued identification and completing liveness verification. We reserve the right to reject verification if documents are invalid or fraudulent.

4. Fees and Payments

AinsGigs charges the following fees:

  • 10% platform fee on all completed transactions (charged to freelancers)
  • ₦100 withdrawal fee for NGN bank transfers
  • Standard Flutterwave payment processing fees apply
  • Optional Pro subscription: ₦10,000/month

All payments are processed through Flutterwave. Funds are held in escrow until work is approved.

5. User Conduct

Users must not:

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices
  • Post offensive, defamatory, or illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent platform fees by transacting off-platform
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data

6. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of work created through the platform. By posting content, you grant AinsGigs a license to display, promote, and distribute your work for platform purposes. Freelancers must ensure they have rights to all work they deliver.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between users, either party may open a dispute through the platform. AinsGigs will review evidence and make a final decision within 3–5 business days. Decisions are binding and final.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users. Users may request account deletion through our support team.

9. Limitation of Liability

AinsGigs is a marketplace platform connecting freelancers and clients. We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or legality of services provided. Our liability is limited to platform fees paid.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
